A leading accounting and consulting firm in the United States is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional for a great Senior-level opportunity with their Private Client Services (PCS) team. In this role, the Tax Senior will be responsible for focusing on tax business planning, advisory & compliance services for ultra-wealthy families as well as multi-generation wealth planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare intermediate to advanced level returns and reviews basic tax returns related to PCS clients.
  • Address questions on technical accounting matters from team members and upper-level client management.
  • Perform a detailed review of team's workflow and monitors tasks to ensure they are assigned and completed on a timely basis.
  • Manage multiple assignments inside an engagement.
  • Communicate with Partner, Manager and/or Supervising Senior on work status and client issues that arise.
  • Participate in planning and execution of client engagement in collaboration with the Manager and/or Partner on the job.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage staff including designing staffing structure of engagement.
  • Lead small to medium-sized assignments with finalized document and report requiring minimal change upon review.
  • Perform other duties, as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant Tax work and industry experience serving High Net Worth clients.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related field.
  • Experience working with High Net Worth clients.
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software (e.g. ProSystem Engagement, Tax, etc.).
  • Microsoft Excel proficient.
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Taxation.
