2500 E. Devon Ave | Des Plaines, IL 60018**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensures all payroll information is collected and received timely.
- Ensures documents are complete and accurate.
- Data entry and payroll processing; ensuring that employees are paid on time and their paychecks are accurate.
- Follows changes in tax and deduction laws, so they are aware of the most recent revisions.
- Prepare and mail earnings and tax-withholding statements for employees’ use in preparing income tax returns.
- Assists in the filing of quarterly federal and state 941s.
- Maintains historical timekeeping and statistical data.
- Performs any and all other tasks or projects as assigned.
- Assists Payroll Manager as needed.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Previous Payroll, Accounting, or HRIS experience is required.
- Must be proficient in excel (Vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc)
- Strong math skills.
- Google Suite and Microsoft Office experience is preferred.
- Must maintain a high level of organization, time management, and confidentiality.
- Possess the cognitive ability to identify potential problem areas from the information presented.
- Ability to communicate with Team members and guests.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays.
- Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
