We are currently seeking experienced Visual Lead-Based Paint Assessors to join our Inspection Services team. This is a part-time/contract position with the possibility of becoming a full-time position, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting visual assessments of dwelling units and common areas within various properties across New York City. Your focus will be verification of potential lead-based paint hazards. You'll make use of a handheld device provided by the company for these assessments, and you'll receive training for its proper use.

Effective communication is key, as you'll be working closely with site authorities and other team members. Proficiency in English is required for this position. You'll also adhere to project schedules, promptly report any scheduling conflicts, and keep track of your daily activities in a Contractors' Logbook located at each development site.

Responsibilities extend to providing daily summary reports capturing the outcomes of your assessments. If you're detail-oriented, organized, and committed to ensuring a safe and compliant environment, this is an excellent opportunity for you.

Qualifications:

- 1 year of commercial or residential property inspection experience
- Proficiency in English
- Lead Based Paint Visual Assessment Training Course Certificate
- Ability to travel to residential buildings throughout New York City

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
