**STATEN ISLAND, NY - PART TIME**

Schedule: 15-20 hours average per week

Pay Type/ FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Program Supervisor, Senior Case Manager and Director of Operations

Pay Range: $16.50 to $18 per hour *based on city, state and/or federal contractual obligations and budgetary allowances

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

- Perform duties related to Fatherhood participants or cases including data entry, attendance, spreadsheet maintenance, and file maintenance
- Prepare reports, trackers, correspondence, and other documents, using word processing, digital spreadsheets, online databases, and presentation software
- Conduct community and participant outreach; aid in the collection of participant documentation and programmatic paperwork required by DYCD for enrollment process through the virtual document uploading platform.
- Provide support with the development and growth of relationships with local, community groups, programs, and agencies.
- Assist with database management and maintenance as directed by the Outreach Specialist, Case Managers and/ or the Senior Case Manager, as applicable and deemed necessary by requirements set forth by DYCD.
- Assist with recording and managing outreach efforts and attendance for activities, in a effective, constructive and organized manner.
- Provide assistance with the maintenance of accurate outreach notes and other records in accordance with UAU and DYCD protocols and policies and procedures.
- Attend and participate in internal and external training sessions and team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as applicable and as directed.
- Attend events at a variety of locations, based on program needs and as directed by the Senior Case Manager.
- Aid with any other departmental duties and projects as needed

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to engage, motivate, and guide individuals with assistance as needed
- Demonstrates flexibility and a fluency for adapting to meet the needs of programming
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
- Demonstrates ability to conduct and complete work independently, including meeting deadlines, while contributing to a collaborative team effort
- Willing and able to take initiative and allow for a flexible work schedule; including some nights and occasional weekends
- Demonstrates understanding and value of individuals’ different capacities, cultures, and abilities
- Demonstrates operational knowledge and proficiency of remote work/remote learning technology, including Zoom, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
- Respect for diverse racial, socio-economic, ethnic, academic, religious, and cultural backgrounds and identities
- Ability to work both virtually, and in person for community outreach and administrative tasks

- Incumbent will be scheduled based on operational need.
- Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
- Position is in a well-lighted office environment.
- Involves sitting approximately 80% percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least 70% of the time. May include at times traveling locally. Reimbursed provided, as per UAU policy.
