FUNCTIONAL ROLE: The primary function of the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is to manage the warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, and dispersing all incoming and outgoing materials and merchandise. Coordinator will also organize and prepare all materials for LTL/FTL shipment from completed projects.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Minimum three (3) years experience in shipping and receiving role or equal. Military experience and organization is beneficial.
- Skills: Good oral and written communications skills. Must be computer literate with experience in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software packages, as well as UPS and Federal Express shipping software.
- Must have basic mathematical skills.
- Must read and write the English language.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with vendors, supervisor, and co-workers. Organized, quality-conscious, detail-oriented, self-starter who can handle multiple objectives, take initiative in solving problems, and work well with mínimal supervision.
- Exceptionally motivated and take-charge personality that is responsible to their Shipping, Receiving & Inventory area in a fast paced environment.

Physical: Body Positions - Standing and squatting.

Body Movements - Walking, bending, stooping, climbing. Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.

Body Senses - Must hear well enough to answer the phone and to respond to questions or concerns. Must see well enough to read documents, operate a computer, maneuver safely through the shop and office environments, and be able to distinguish the vast array of colors.

JOB TASKS AND DUTIES:

- Verbal communications--places/receives calls to/from vendors as required. Interfaces well with fellow employees, vendors, and clients alike.
- Arranges shipping based on internal requests for courier service, UPS/Fedex ground, and LTL/FTL shipments. Provide quotes to internal clients when requested.
- Receives, labels, and organizes the storage of all incoming materials in Bays 1-15.
- Reports shortages and vendor failure to deliver materials ordered.
- Prepares receiving documentation for accounting.
- Operates a forklift in the Explus warehouse in a safe manner.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area, warehouse, and back lot.
- Coordinates the loading/off-loading of trucks and exhibits, when required, working directly with Fabrication and Project Manager.

Responsible to maintain the organization of exhibit components in staging area, or track components in storage awaiting additional segments of the exhibit for wrap, pack and shipping.
- Performs all other tasks/duties as may be assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:

- Accuracy and timeliness of required data entry, correspondence, reporting, etc
- Overall satisfaction of Purchasing Manager.
- Attendance and punctuality record.
- Quality of work performed consistently.
- Compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Cooperation with others; development and demonstration of teamwork.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
