Medical Front Office Coordinator

About us:
Houston TMJ Facial Pain and Sleep is a premier specialty practice dedicated to managing TMJ disorders, facial pain, and sleep apnea. Located in the vibrant Galleria Area, our boutique practice is led by Dr. Martinez, a distinguished board-certified orofacial pain and TMJ specialist. Dr. Martinez is one of very few board-certified TMJ and Orofacial Pain specialists in the country.
Highlights:
Excellent communication skills required
At least one year of experience in a Medical or Dental Office preferred
Familiarity with insurance and billing preferred; training provided if necessary
Basic computer skills required, including proficiency in medical software and Microsoft Outlook, Excel/Word
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bilingual preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical or dental receptionist preferred
**Responsibilities**:
Warmly greet and assist patients with check-in/check-out procedures
Efficiently schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
Coordinate patient referrals to and from the office
Handle phone calls and inquiries professionally and empathetically
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
Manage new patient leads and assist with administrative tasks
Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize patient flow and satisfaction
Create payment plans with patients as needed
, 8-5 schedule, 5 days a week, no weekends
Additional Information:
No emergencies, screaming kids, or blood
Opportunities for growth and training available, including learning to assist with CT scans
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
