- Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee that the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers.
- Prepare and manage batch cooking for customer fulfillments.
- Collaborate with owner and General Manager to align kitchen operations with the overarching goals of the establishment.
- Provide feedback regarding the food quality of large bulk purchases and their costs in the market.
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in the restaurant area or the kitchen and its environs.
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and ordering new supplies as needed even before exhaustion.
- Establish operational standards for the kitchen staff and creating schedules that meet company standards.
- Have good communication skills and negotiating abilities to assist with managing the kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all food preparation is by regulatory guidelines and health-wise is deemed fit for consumption by the customers.
- Prepare food according to set recipes and customer orders.
- Train, and manage staff about proper kitchen sanitization methods and etiquettes.
- Control and direct food preparation in the kitchen staff.
- Work closely with line cooks and prep cooks and provide guidance and direction.
- Determine food inventory needs, stocking, organization, and ordering.
- Ensure the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure a healthy and safe work ethics in the kitchen and amongst the kitchen staff.
- Ensure efficiency and productivity of the kitchen and its staff.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Valid Culinary School Certificate (required)
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate for Managers (required)
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- Must read and write English (preferred)

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Experience level:

- 2 years

Shift:

- Evening shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
