The EVS Worker will work closely with other team members to contribute to the overall well-being of our seniors

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and disinfect participants rooms, offices, bathrooms, and public areas according to established protocols.
- Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Ensure that restrooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist in setting up rooms for various activities and events.
- Break down and clean up after events, ensuring spaces are returned to their original condition.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with established guidelines.
- Monitor and replenish supplies in designated areas.
- Coordinate with other staff members to address specific cleaning needs.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure environment for participants and staff.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals in a safe and responsible manner.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or concerns to the appropriate personnel promptly
- Follow all infection control procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of infection.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing tasks.

**Education & Training**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or senior care setting.

**Skills & Abilities**
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safe chemical usage.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Must be able to document care provided in participant’s service records.
