JOB TITLE: Assistant Residential Supervisor

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Residential Services

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY: To oversee and manage the
administrative operations of a residential sites.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The ARS is responsible for directly managing the programmatic implementation of residents' individualized programs in a residential site, including the supervision of the Caregivers.

EXAMPLES OF WORK:
1. Develops, implements, and monitors resident programs and ISPs.
2. Coordinates activities relative to residents' treatment goals.
3. Provides status updates to members of the client's team.
4. In coordination with the psychiatrist, oversees the self-administration of psychotropic medications.
5. Assist Administers Crisis Intervention Techniques in emergencies
6. Supervises, trains and supports the caregivers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
2. Ability to multi-tasks efficiently and effectively.
3. Knowledge of behavior modification techniques.
4. Ability to manage varied types of individuals.

HOURS OF WORK: Forty (40) hours per week; exempt position.

EVALUATION SCHEDULE: Annual.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A combination of at least four (2) years education in human services and / or social services with 2 years experience in behavioral health, social services, etc. And/ or 4 years experience in behavioral health setting with high school diploma /GED'
