**JOB TITLE**: Customer Service

***:
The staff member is responsible for customer service. Customer service includes greeting and waiting on customers, operating the computer/tablet, answering the telephone, and scheduling court time. It includes promotion of the sales of lessons, programs, and merchandise. The staff member is also responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly facility both inside and outside.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
1. Greet customers, determine their needs and help them.
2. Operate the computer/check-in guests.
3. Answer the telephone, determine the caller’s needs, and help them.
4. Schedule court time, lessons, and other pickleball events.
5. Encourage customers to schedule and participate in additional pickleball activities.
6. Sales of merchandise in the pro shop.
8. Inside maintenance to include picking up litter and debris from the courts and facility, and emptying trash and cleaning.
9. Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:
1. Pickleball playing & knowledge is required.
2. Outstanding customer relations skills.
3. Outstanding telephone skills.
4. Outstanding sales ability.
5. Outstanding organizational skills.
6. Outstanding problem solving abilities.
7. Ability to listen to and follow directions.
8. Ability to successfully complete assigned tasks.
9. Ability to write legibly.
10. Ability to multi-task.
11. Ability to set and achieve goals.
12. Ability to communicate effectively utilizing verbal and written skills.
13. Computer literacy.
14. Ability to work independently requiring limited supervision.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
