**JOB TITLE**: UPW (Ultra-Pure Water) Technician

**SUMMARY**:An UPW (Ultra-Pure Water) Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining ultra-pure water systems that are found within a semiconductor environment.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Interact with engineering as well as other operation technicians maintaining ultra-pure water systems
- Operate and maintain ultra-pure water systems that support Technology Development (TD) facilities
- Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance procedures. Utilizing quality systems and diagnosing process issues related to Reverse Osmosis, Filtration, Ion Exchange, Ultraviolet Light Sterilization, etc.
- Maintain Analytical equipment and creating Statistical reports (Preventative Excursion Management Systems)
- Utilize Maximo Maintenance planning software

**Requirements (must have one of the following)**:

- Associate's technical degree in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Water/Purification field or equivalent technical degree with 1+ years of experience in Ultra-Pure water operations or facilities
- Bachelor's degree in the Mechanical, Chemical, or Water/Purification field or equivalent technical degree
- Military experience with 1+ years of experience in Ultra-Pure water operations or facilities
