The Outside Sales Representative has the critical job of introducing potential customers to our renewal energy products and works with them to select and purchase products.

**Overview**
- The Outside Sales Representative has the critical job of introducing potential customers to our renewal energy products and works with them to select and purchase products.**Responsibilities**
- Educate customers about the various products and services available to them.
- Maintain an intimate knowledge of products, including features, benefits, and potential drawbacks/risks. Stay up to date on new technological advancements to offer accurate advice about which products are most effective for customer needs.
- Provide excellent customer service; generate leads; close deals; research potential target markets; use social media to promote and grow the network; attend industry events and trade shows.
- Collaborate with other departments on product design.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Permissions**
- Authority to resolve customer complaints.**Required Education/Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Marketing, Business, or other related field required.
- Fluency in English. Bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) language required.

**Competencies**
- Acceptable level of proficiency in communication to collaborate effectively with customers and coworkers.
- Capacity to quickly learn required skills, such as basic office equipment and selected company software programs.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret complex figures and text.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a team player.

**Work Environment**
- The work environment for the position includes a variety of indoor and outdoor environments including customer sites, trade shows/conference centers, enclosed offices, and workshop production floor.**Physical Demands**
- The physical demands of the position include walking, standing, reaching, and sitting, on a regular basis; ability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shading variation; lifting objects from one level to another; entering text or data via keyboard into a computer; seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands; ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or sounds.It is the policy of Imperial Star to comply with all the relevant and applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
