Overview

You will be responsible for providing customer support and collecting payments by assisting debtors with their accounts. Duties include accepting inbound calls from debtors, reviewing accounts, and collecting payments.

**Responsibilities**
- Adhere to laws, rules and regulations governing collections - including but not limited to: FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA, ACA code of ethics, and state laws.
- Meet all production targets such as number of accounts worked, number of attempts, calls per hour, promises, promises per hour, conversion rate, etc.
- Utilize various calling strategies to establish as many debtor contacts as possible.
- Negotiate best repayment terms for every debtor contact.
- Proficiently use internal customer service computer systems, medical billing systems, and Microsoft Office products. Have knowledge of client products and parameters.
- Manage your individual desk portfolio to ensure no outstanding gaps in activity.
- Adhere and follow all BYLS policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a call center environment **(preferred)**
- Prior collections experience **(preferred)**
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be flexible and adaptive to a high-volume call center environment which requires long periods of stationary work

**Position Summary**

Non-Exempt, Part-time - Starting at $17.50/hr plus monthly based on collection activity.

Hours: 6 Hour Shifts between Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-6:00 PM. There is flexibility on what those 6 hours would be.
