HR Generalist

The role will provide HR services for our clients. Our main need is in Anaheim, CA but the majority of our clients are headquartered in Southern California, although we have some national and international clients. Client needs will for various projects will differ, but the objective is to relieve the burden of HR concerns and internal time constraints from the client. Importantly, we need to provide and implement current practices and provide strategic and development value. The position will provide hands-on Generalist HR Support for clients that may span the four major channels, including _Core HR Processes, Compliance for Legal and Safety, Talent Acquisition and Development and Development and Design of Organizations and Training_. All work performed for Workforce and Clients must be documented for record, billing and payroll purposes. All Consultants with Workforce are responsible to encourage increased Client projects and hours of engagement based on the needs of the client.

**HR Duties for clients may include - blend of on-site and off-site**
HR Consultants and Specialists will Audit, Design, Develop and Manage programs within all elements of Human Resources. Our role is to provide partnership and leadership of the HR Strategy for our clients.
Client engagements vary from weekly onsite, to daily onsite and everything in-between. The engagements change and are often determined based on the Consultants availability and the needs of the client. Approved hours per clients also vary.
Our objective is that every client engagement begins with a comprehensive Audit of current HR programs, Goals of the client and Employee Engagement Surveys - these processes often create a roadmap for the first months or years of the engagement. Auditing should be updated no less than every two years per client
Support or lead the development of multiple HR Projects and Programs, such as _Employee Handbook, HR Auditing, Employee Surveys, Recruitment, Safety Training, Employee Relations, Investigations, Training Program Development and Training delivery. _
Will partner with Workforce Management and HR Specialists (Legal, Safety, Recruitment) for all issues/projects that need additional support or expertise
Will adapt and create custom projects and advisory for each unique client engagement
Will perform with efficiency and always aware that all work for clients is billable and the clients want value and results for every dollar spent on our services. _For example, the clients do not want to pay us for thinking about how to approach assignments_
Will stay current with all relevant core and new legal requirements for employment and safety and other HR related knowledge base
Provide regular updates to clients that span the HR world to include - Legal Compliance, Safety, Process, Training
Will adapt priorities and directions based on client objectives
Will work close with client HR and Management and Workforce Management proactively to prevent unnecessary surprises
**General Qualifications for HR Consultants**
Comprehensive hands-on Generalist experience. Needs to be able to help process Payroll, investigate complex ER issues, Recruit, Train, and Advise on Benefits, Safety, COVID issues, Leaves of Absence, Wage and Hours, and Regulatory compliance challenges
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR practices in all major channels of human resources
- SHRM or other credible certification
- 4-year college degree (preferred but not required)
Maintains current progressive knowledge of legal compliance requirements on a federal and state level and can communicate such with experienced Business Leaders and/or Senior HR Professionals
Must have reliable transportation to work anywhere in Southern California. 40% to 70% local travel is standard. Occasional out of state travel may be required.
Must be able to perform office duties at your home office

**Reasoning Ability**:
The position requires pragmatic analyzing skills and problem-solving abilities.
**Computer Skills**:
Exceptional computer skills are required. Must be able to handle multiple programs due to clients having different software.
**People Skills**:
Our clients vary by industry. This role requires an understanding of different personalities and patience with those with different or lesser skill levels.

Pay: Up to $45.00 per hour
