**Position Summary**: The Bankruptcy Specialist II will refer and monitor bankruptcy loans daily and ensure timelines are completed within internal guidelines

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with the ability to prioritize and maintain a large volume of multi-faceted work. Also required is the ability to be flexible and adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Review and update MSP with bankruptcy information
- Monitor bankruptcy actions through Process Management and default reports
- Communicate with attorneys, trustees, taxing authorities and other third parties to ensure timely resolution on all cases
- Timely response to all incoming correspondence regarding assigned loans
- Work internal MSP tracking queues and remove files from bankruptcy as necessary
- Participate in department progress in reducing timeline delays
- Knowledge on how to create and update reconciliation ledgers for chapter 13s

**Education / Experience**:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate's degree
(A. A.) from two-year College preferred. Two to four years' related experience and/or training required.

**Computer Skills**: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS preferred.
