Core Responsibilities:

  • Administer care to a designated patient demographic.
  • Implement the nursing process to assess and enhance care delivery.
  • Provide family-centered, evidence-informed care with respect and dignity.
  • Accurately document all nursing interventions and activities.
  • Act as an advocate for patients in situations of abuse or neglect.
  • Encourage Nursing Shared Governance and support professional development.
  • Offer leadership and educational support to nursing staff within the division.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Florida is essential.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatric nursing is necessary.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is required.
