Supervisory Information Technology Specialist

**Duties**:
As a Supervisory Infromation Technology Specialist, GS-2210-15, you will be responsible for:
- Supervises Information Technology (IT) personnel and provides oversight to IT contractors. Manages new projects and daily operations and maintenance for the Department's IT environment.
- Manages and oversees contractor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to validate incentive and disincentive values. Analyzes IT trends and serves on the SLA Review Board to address performance gaps.
- Manages projects and processes to administer, test and approve assistive technology for staff and contractors with disabilities. Ensures that the department's infrastructure and architecture solutions comply with Federal and Department requirements.
- Oversees data centers and asset inventories as well as the installation, refresh and relocation of IT equipment. Validates asset and configuration data to ensure it is accurate, complete and current.
- Manages computers and mobile devices across multiple use-case mobility scenarios (e.g. onsite, remote access, hoteling workspaces, conference rooms, etc.)
- Manages the Department's Print Management services.
- Oversees the Department's storage consumption, analyzes trends, justifies significant increases and implements controls to streamline storage costs.
- Manages IT infrastructure, services and solutions throughout all phases of the Department's Chief Information Officer (CIO) Lifecycle Management (LCM) framework to promote high customer satisfaction and IT performance while streamlining costs and ensuring compliance with security requirements.
- Demonstrates IT system design and development expertise in implementing best-practices for architecture and engineering services.
- Serves as senior expert and consultant to top agency management officials to advise on integrating IT programs with other programs of equivalent scope and complexity.

Conditions of Employment
**TELEWORK ELIGIBILITY**:
- You may be eligible for occasional telework in which you are required to report to the office on a regular basis. Participation must be requested and approved by the supervisor and there must be a signed telework agreement. The number of telework days approved is determined by the agency policy, emergency situations, the approval of your immediate supervisor. You must have access to high speed internet and cell phone service meeting current Agency policy from the approved work location.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
You may meet the minimum qualifications for the GS-15, if you possess the specialize experience.
Specialized Experience for the GS-15
One year of experience in either federal or non-federal service that is equivalent to at least a GS-14 performing two (2) out of three (3) of the following duties or work assignments:
1. Experience directing and managing government and contractor personnel conducting IT services.
2. Experience serving as senior advisor to top agency management officials on IT programs.
3. Experience overseeing IT support operations in geographically dispersed offices and workforce settings.
Basic Experience Requirements
You must possess IT related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (e.g., IT certification), as appropriate) demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
