**Job Title**: Construction Project Coordinator

**Location**: Newport Beach, CA

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Communication Liaison**: Act as the primary point of contact for all communications with CalTrans and Resident Engineers. Ensure that all correspondence is clear, timely, and effectively addresses project requirements.
- **Submittal Management**: Oversee the completion and submission of all necessary project submittals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- **Resource Coordination**: Confirm employee attendance at job sites, coordinating schedules to ensure adequate manpower for project execution. Additionally, coordinate with subcontractors to confirm their involvement in project activities.
- **Daily Reporting**: Generate and maintain accurate daily reports detailing project progress, challenges encountered, and any other relevant information. Ensure that reports are submitted in a timely manner to support project transparency and decision-making.
- **Lane Closure Management**: Prepare and submit requests for lane closures as required by project timelines and specifications, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- **Billing Administration**: Compile and submit monthly billing documents to CalTrans, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with contractual agreements and project milestones.
- **Material Procurement**: Collaborate with the CEO to identify material requirements for ongoing projects and facilitate the timely procurement of materials from suppliers.

- Strong understanding of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in construction project coordination or related roles.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
