Purchasing Specialist

Nationwide distributor with 23 locations in 18 different states is searching for an experienced Inventory Replenishment Specialist.

Buyer will analyze replenishment needs for multiple Branches, utilizing current and historical trends to maximize sales, inventory turns and fill rates, as well as track sales and transfer history for over 19,000 skus.

Duties include purchase order management from placement until receipt, reviewing and approving proforma invoices, with international factories as well as domestic factories.

SKILLS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field required, or equivalent experience

Experience in procurement management, inventory control, and vendor management.

Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and procurement best practices

Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and MS Word

Impeccable attention to detail

Strong communication with Management, Sales and Vendor partners.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
