**Job Summary**:
The Leaching Laboratory Technician handles cutters and inserts through the leaching treatment process, adding performance value to drilling products and services.

**This process includes**:

- Preparing cutters and inserts for treatment
- Initiating and monitoring the treatment process
- Cleaning cutters and inserts after treatment
- Performing various internal quality control inspections throughout the treatment process
- Completing all documentation associated with the treatment process
- Receiving and delivering material to and from the Warehouse

**Relationships**:
Reports to Laboratory Supervisor
Maintains professional, productive relationships with colleagues
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Comply with all company HSE, Quality, IT, etc. standards and policies, and with all applicable regulations
- Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) where required
- Maintain all assigned HSE and Quality certifications and job training requirements
- Observe and intervene to maintain high standards of safety and service quality
- Perform HSE and Quality risk analysis to identify and address potential hazards
- Maintain laboratory equipment, tools, and space in a clean and proper working condition
- Monitor operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment
- Mentor, coach, and act as role model for less experienced personnel
- Audit laboratory conditions and processes; prepare and follow up on action items resulting from audits
- Perform standard work per provided instructions and training
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

**Previous Experience and Competencies**:
**Education**:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Some post-secondary education preferred

**Special Knowledge & Skills**:

- Experience in laboratory environment or chemistry field a plus
- Experience in quality management systems a plus
- Computer proficiency a plus

**Behavior**:

- Respectful and professional demeanor
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Works equally well independently or in a team
- Attentive to detail
- Strong attendance record

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $17.80 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
