Administrative Assistant

**Description**
Administrative Assistants will manage telephone calls from patients and other doctor's offices. Utilize fax machine to send and receive orders. Schedule patient appointments through our EPM/ EHR system and provide the necessary support to other staff members where needed.
**Requirements**:
- Successful experience working in a service environment with challenging clients.
- Experience using an Electronic Medical Record a huge plus.
- Customer service-oriented attitude is essential; must be consistently friendly and attentive.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to react quickly in emergencies; must be able to quickly identify appropriate staff when crisis situations arise.
- Recognizes and properly handles confidential health information.
- Able to efficiently prioritize multiple high-priority tasks.
- Medical Terminology preferred
- Knowledge of standard office machinery (fax machines, photocopiers, phones) necessary.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
