**Job Summary**:
Guest Service employees will perform functions in the Bone Student Center around operations, ushering, and security services. This position is critical in providing our campus community and guests with exceptional customer service, offering relevant information, directions, resource materials, and a safe environment to enjoy the activities located in the Bone Student Center. Student employees will assist in monitoring activity throughout the building and surrounding areas, enforcing building/ University guidelines, and reporting any issues to the appropriate staff.

- Ability to work weekend and evening hours during the academic year and summer and/or holiday availability is desired.
- Ability to set up event rooms as directed ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment.
- Assist the public during events taking tickets, passing out programs and finding their seats.
- Secure entrances/exits, complete bag checks, operate detecting devices and check IDs.
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Work Hours**:
Varies based on building operations and event needs.

**Functional Expectations**:
Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
Move furniture, lift heavy objects, occasionally up to 60 lbs. Repeatedly, bend/kneel/stoop as needed, ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to climb stairs, and ability to spend many hours on your feet with or without a reasonable accommodation.
