**Job Summary**:
BB&N is seeking a full-time Upper School Nurse. The Nurse is responsible for the implementation and management of BB&N’s coordinated school health program which is consistent with BB&N’s philosophy, goals, and objectives as well as consistent with the Massachusetts guidelines and regulations governing school health and nursing. The Nurse will provide quality care as part of an all-school team including collaboration with the Lead Nurse, campus nurses, and substitute nurses.

In addition, the Nurse will demonstrate the following skills and competencies:
- Developing and maintaining trusting relationships with students and families- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with faculty and administration- Understanding of child development- Commitment to working in and fostering an inclusive community- Knowledge and commitment around diversity, equity, and inclusion practices- Knowledge of and ability to work effectively with cross-cultural populations- Self-starter - working independently without day-to-day supervision- Ability to facilitate Crisis intervention- Maintaining confidentiality; using discretion- Support of the institution’s mission- Provide healthcare to meet the individual needs of students- Ensures compliance with state-mandated programs- Understand and exhibit high standards of professional conduct

**Skills and Competencies**:
- Experience in both children and adult illness/injury care- Experience working with children and young adults- Ability to originate, update, and/or monitor health care, maintain records, and implement the coordinated school health program and Standing Orders- Current CPR and First Aid certifications: including willingness to complete CPR Trainer certification- Desire to work in a school community- Ability and experience in supervising children

**Salary**:$82,000.00 - $88,000.00
- Compensation for full-time employees includes a 403(b) plan with up to a 10% match of salary and other competitive benefits offerings. Benefits offered to eligible employees include health & dental insurance; commuter benefits; long-term disability insurance, and more_
