**Essential Functions of the Job**:
Performs all duties encompassed by Fabricator I as below:

- Follows all company and departmental safety rules including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Performs all required quality checks to assure products conform to company standards including first piece part inspections
- Maintains 5s standards of housekeeping in work area
- Meets production requirements
- Operates a limited variety of fabrication machines that may include CNC equipment, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions
- Performs Back flushing to relive raw material inventory
- Performs basic set-up and adjustment of machinery following standard procedures including proper adjustment of guards and safety devices
- Lifts and positions parts into the machine manually or with a hoist
- Operates overhead crane
- Assists other employees in set up and operation of machines
- Performs daily inspection and preventive maintenance on machinery
- Assists in training coworkers in proper work procedures and safety as necessary
- Performs other duties as assigned

In addition to the duties encompassed by a Fabricator I, incumbent will perform the following:

- Operates a wide variety of fabrication machines including CNC equipment, to cut and shape components to specified dimensions
- Looks up raw material in inventory system
- Performs advanced set-up and adjustment of machinery where standard procedures are not always available including proper adjustment of guards and safety devices
- Instructs other employees in set up and operation of machines

**Requirements**:
**Position Summary**:
Under general supervision, performs duties to set-up, adjust and operate a wide variety of fabrication machines including CNC Equipment, processes work orders using blueprints and routers of the designated parts. Also analyzes specifications and computes dimensions according to knowledge of product, subsequent processing, shop mathematics and layout procedures. May direct activities of other employees.
