Front of House Manager

**About us**

Shrewsbury River Yacht Club is a private club in an incredible waterfront setting. We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Front of House manager to lead our server staff and act as key liaison between our members and kitchen staff during food service events. This position plays a critical role in promoting member and guest satisfaction.

This is a seasonal position that requires availability on weekends and holidays from May to the first week of November. The club has dinner service on Friday and Sunday, and occasionally on Wednesday, and private and special events on weekends.

Responsibilities include:

- Provide excellent service at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders in full
- Manage/train/schedule server staff
- Set and maintain the dining room environment including menus
- Have necessary knowledge of menu items to assist members and staff as needed
- Assist members and kitchen/server staff courteously and efficiently
- Assist restaurant colleagues prepare for service
- Manage POS system including menu and pricing updates
- Manage closing procedures to ensure dining room and kitchen are clean and ready for next service event
- Promptly address and correct any member complaints or issues.
- Check on members regularly to ensure satisfaction with their meals
- Interact with club manager and all staff to contribute to overall success of club operations to ensure member satisfaction

Pay: $20/hr plus tips
