**Job Purpose**:
Will be responsible for front end Wafer Processing and operation of semiconductor process equipment, to include dry and wet etch, photolithography, metallization, lapping and polishing and dielectric deposition. Will develop and implement procedures for full-time wafer production, set-up, process and analyze experimental results to improve yields, reduce costs and simplify processing. Working with a team of engineers and scientists, will support improvements to existing technology as well as support the development and introduction of new technology.
This is a second or third-shift position.
**Duties**:
- Perform process equipment maintenance, Pre-melt / Condition the Sources
- Monitor wafer processing steps and if a problem arises help to solve the issue.
- Assist Engineering staff on new design production and protocols.
- Troubleshoot issues and recommend possible solutions.
- Assist in updating documentation to ensure every production process is documented and controlled.
- Accurately read run card and documents.
- Effectively cross-train fellow co-workers.
- Perform qualification metallization vacuum system.
- Accurately enter data into manufacturing interfaces and Excel spreadsheets.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent of 1 year direct relevant experience in the Semiconductor industry. is required. Minimum of three year’s experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment with precision process equipment is preferred. Must have excellent communications skills. Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Access, MS Word and PowerPoint desirable. Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision. Ability to work in 10,000 class clean room environment wearing bunny suit, face mask, head mask and gloves for entire production shift. Sit at workstation for majority of production shift.
