Purpose of Role: The SHE Specialist is responsible for environmental, safety and health programs as well as assistance with manufacturing design of products, processes, methods, and tooling for the Tucson operations. They will be supporting the development, implementation, maintenance and administration of environmental, safety and health programs while also leading and deploying the best practices in the manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities:

* Focus Area: Advise employees and management on minimizing workplace risks by interpreting state and federal regulations, including ISO 14001 environmental standards.
* Focus Area: Establish, implement, and revise policies and procedures for Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) requirements, including continuous safety training and updates for all employees.
* Focus Area: Plan and conduct SHE audit schedules, ensuring corrective actions and preparing audit result reports, including mediation requirements.
* Focus Area: Serve as the Return to Work Coordinator for work-related injuries, managing employee transport, collaborating with medical professionals, and overseeing required safety reports for lean initiatives and environmental, safety, and health statistics.
* Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree, or Equivalent Work Experience (5+ Years)
* 3-5 years of relevant SHE/EHS experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
* Although not a physically demanding position, you will be required to sit, stand, kneel, and/or crouch when necessary
