Duties: - Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental scheduling software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) - Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries - Collect patient information and update electronic health records - Manage patient check-in and check-out process - Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Handle patient billing and payment processing - Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality Requirements: - Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Proficient in using dental scheduling software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes - Understanding of HIPAA regulations At our dental office, we offer competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.
