**DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
As a Records Specialist 1, you will maintain accurate and up-to-date master files. You will analyze court documents to create and revise sentence structures and sentence calculations; revise sentence calculations when changes are made by the court or the Pennsylvania Probation and Parole Board; review time periods identified as commitment credit to determine if the credit is legal and should be applied; update and review inmate criminal histories; and conduct one-on-one inmate interviews, fingerprinting and photographing.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement at age 60 or 65.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- Two years of clerical or correctional custodial experience; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

**Other Requirements**:

- You must be able to obtain and maintain an active Commonwealth Law Enforcement Assistance Network (CLEAN) certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Police within the probationary period and maintain the same for the duration of employment in this job.
