Washington, United States CRYSP DC Full time

**About us**

CRYSP DC is a small nonprofit organization in Washington, DC 20002. We are customer-centric, inclusive, fun and our goal is to create equitable access to high-quality sports and recreation.

Our work environment includes:

- Company perks
- Casual work attire
- Growth opportunities

CRYSP DC, formerly known as Capitol Hill Riverside Youth Sports Park, began as a neighborhood-inspired vision for playing fields, walking/biking trails, playground, outdoor pavilion, river access, and other amenities in the north lots of the RFK Stadium complex. This vision addressed a key lack of field space for youth and adult amateur sports programs in nearby Kingman Park, Rosedale, Carver/Langston, and Capitol Hill. As a result of our advocacy, The Fields at RFK Campus, a 30-acre multi-sport recreation facility was built and opened in June 2019 by Events DC. CRYSP competed to be the field operator and was awarded the contract in April 2019.

CRYSP is committed to creating equitable opportunities for sports and recreation, especially for youth and the neighborhoods surrounding The Fields at RFK Campus on both sides of the Anacostia River. “Bridging communities” is a central tenet of CRYSP’s mission: connecting Capitol Hill residents with residents of wards 5, 7 and 8, and making the benefits of sports and team participation available to as many young people and residents as possible, especially those with limited sports and recreation opportunities.
