Our multi-disciplined treatment team works with individuals ages 18+ who experience severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring developmental disabilities and substance use disorders. The Manager of Recruitment and Retention leads the recruitment initiatives for the agency while also focusing on activities that will help ensure we retain our trained and qualified staff, leads wellness initiatives, drives diversity, equity and inclusion efforts and manages the internship program. This is a hybrid, **full time, 40 hour **per week position.
Major Functional Areas and Description of Duties
**Recruitment - 50% of position**
Additional responsibilities will include being part of the interview process when needed by the hiring managers, assisting in the completion of reports and metrics and conducting interview skills training for new supervisors to ensure those with hiring responsibility are conducting interviews that are fair and legally appropriate.
**Staff Retention - 20% of position**
The Manager of Recruitment and Retention will also function as the New Hire Liaison and will create actions and initiatives to support the retention of new as well as experienced CLM staff, including but not limited to outreach within a new hire’s first week of employment at CLM to make initial contact, and then bi-weekly for the first several months via phone, TEAMS or in-person to assess the new hire’s assimilation, success and concerns within the CLM work environment.
The New Hire Liaison will gather information and data and share important themes with the leadership team and recommend changes that would be benefit the staff and subsequently clients and the agency and would result in reduced staff turnover.
Additional responsibilities will include conducting periodic “stay” interviews and exit interviews with an eye towards seeking information, both positive and negative regarding CLM’s leadership style, culture and environment that will ultimately boost employee satisfaction and morale, as well as conducting an annual climate survey for the organization, with emphasis on the dissemination of the results as well as ensuring plans for improvement are rolled out across the organization, and actionable changes are made.

This newly embedded part of the HR function will involve gathering data that will tell us what our organization currently looks like and where we may be underrepresented; once data is gathered analysis will be completed to identify needs and areas of concern.
Upon completion of the analysis, the Recruitment and Retention Manager, working in collaboration with the VP of HR and Administration, will create and implement initiatives such as cultural awareness and competency training (as examples) and communicate the initiatives outward to the organization.
Final steps in CLM’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion plan will include measuring outcomes, communicating them outward and adjusting plans based on feedback.
