**Position Summary**:
The client’s Information Technology Department (“IT”) is seeking to contract up to 2 Procurement and Contracts Consultants for twelve (12) months starting with the notice to proceed, in support of the Unified Back Office System (“UBOS”) and SAP Modernized And Reimaged Transition (“SMART”/SAP Upgrade) projects.

**Essential Functions**:

- Understand the client’s policies, procurement, and contract/agreement requirements
- Understand the current procurement processes and systems
- Participate in the negotiation and the review of vendor agreements
- Conduct financial analysis ensuring optimal decision-making for buying goods and services
- Assist with the negotiation strategy for large and complex contracts
- Coordinate contract issues through collaboration with appropriate stakeholders
- Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into contractual requirements
- Capture, analyze, and document requirements
- Assist with negotiations of appropriate terms and conditions
- Support dispute resolution and audit defense initiatives
- Assist with analyzing licensing requirements and procuring the licenses
- Manage tasks and activities on multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to understand their capabilities and align them with organizational needs
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
- Complete projects in a manner consistent with the client’s and PMO guidelines
- Work at the direction of the IT Policy, Planning, and Procurement Manager

**Required Experience**:
Preferred skills include:

- Strong attention to detail
- Analytical thinking
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft contracts, or contracts similar in size and complexity
- End-user contract experience
- Experience in SAP’s Functional Modules,
- Experience with contracts to procurement lifecycle
- Proficient technical writer
- ServiceNow Experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules
