**Contracts Administrator**

Job Summary: As a Contracts Administrator at Chemring Energetic Devices, you'll play a crucial role in our dynamic team, providing a single point of contact to our esteemed customers. You'll work both independently and collaboratively within our internal teams, managing tasks from proposals through to invoicing and everything in between.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Handle shipment paperwork and invoicing as necessary.

Act as the primary interface with customers during fact-finding proposals and formal contract/subcontract negotiations.

Ensure compliance with relevant federal regulations.

Review contractual documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms and conditions.

Serve as a focal point for resolving contract-related issues with other departments.

Manage all contractual communications and commitments between customers and Chemring.

Represent Contract/Subcontract Management on program and RFP teams.

Oversee the contract change process and collaborate with various departments to mitigate performance risk.

Draft and negotiate contractual instruments.

Provide guidance and support to the business team on contract-related matters.

Monitor program performance for scope changes and take appropriate action.

Cultivate strong customer relationships and understand their needs and concerns.

Utilize and navigate customer systems effectively, such as Exostar, WAWF, SIR, and IRAPT.

**Qualification Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Relevant contracts/subcontracts coursework is preferred.

Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003, as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) for all Chemring Energetic Devices employees.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, you'll be required to talk, hear, sit for extended periods, occasionally stand and walk, and use your hands for various tasks. You may encounter moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, and explosives. However, reasonable accommodations will be made to ensure your comfort and safety.
