Culinary Incubator Director

Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Facilitates the culinary incubation process for participants from intake through completion, including the use of appropriate curriculum and other materials.
- Organizes all classes, mentors and instructors for the Incubator
- Assists with building community connections for participants and the program
- Responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the Commercial Shared Kitchen owner and manager, the culinary arts training instructor at Open Door and other training programs in the city
- Ensures the Open Door mission is achieved through resource connections, education, mentoring, and job development for persons of low income interested in business creation
- Ensures metrics are adequately identified, measured and reported
- Makes presentations on behalf of the Incubator as needed and requested by the Executive Director, and assists with public relations of the Incubator

Qualifications:

- Proven as a business minded professional that includes culinary experience
- Strong background in business and understands culinary business management
- Ability to work with underserved and under-resourced populations
- Proficient in teaching/facilitating, making community connections, and public relations
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills to interact effectively with internal and external customers**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
