Aescape is the NY-based lifestyle robotics company redefining self-care.

We announced the world's first commercially available, fully automated AI-powered massage experience with Equinox in March — and this is only the beginning. We are in a period of rapid growth, launching our category-transforming product throughout 2024 with global leaders in hospitality, wellness, sports and fitness.

**Flagship Retail Store Manager**

As a **Flagship** **Retail Store Manager** leading our very first Aescape Studio, you'll craft an unparalleled member journey and propel membership expansion while helping us build our new Retail Division. You’ll be collaborating closely with Senior Retail Leadership as we aim to build our premium destination for progressive wellness. This role offers an incredible growth opportunity for you to shape the evolution of member experiences in the wellness realm and hone your leadership and retail management skills as we revolutionize the massage therapy industry. **What You’ll Do**:
**Community and Culture Building**
- Bring the Aescape community, culture, and values to life within your studio.
- Deliver an exceptional, seamless, and impactful member experience.
- Cultivate strong relationships within the studio through corporate partnerships and an enhanced community engagement.

**Leadership and Team Development**
- Lead your studio crew to not just meet, but exceed membership goals and KPIs.
- Offer in-the-moment feedback and coaching, nurturing a high-performing team.
- Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of all new hires, turning potential into excellence.

**Operational Excellence**
- Master studio-specific and company-wide operational procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all company-wide initiatives are executed in your studio.
- Oversee front of house operations including member check-in and check-out process.
- Follow and lead safety protocols, safeguarding the well-being of our team and customers.

**Business Acumen**
- Build a membership database propelled by a loyal, repeat-driven customer base.
- Craft and execute business plans that hit membership and retail targets.
- Drive retail revenue by connecting with local wellness enthusiasts through community outreach

**Problem Solving and Adaptability**
- Lead with empathy, managing conflict and high-pressure situations with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Embrace and manage change, adapting swiftly to new processes and keeping your team and studio dynamic and future-ready.

**What You’ll Bring**
- 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably within the retail, hospitality, or health and wellness industry
- Exceptional leadership skills, fostering a united and motivated team
- Proven track record of driving sales from start-up, executing events, and collaborating with HQ team
- Superior customer service and hospitality skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with team members, clients, and senior management
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- Desire for retail career growth is a plus as we build our brand and retail footprint
- Personal passion for wellness and the Aescape mission is a plus
