**Description**:

- Thorough knowledge of network operations (LAN, WAN SAN, network attached devices, etc.)
- Ability to manage, direct, motivate, and build a cohesive network team
- Works with the cyber security team to maintain a secure network environment
- Administers, maintains, and upgrades all of the servers
- Maintains a secure network environment
- Administers and maintains County's server infrastructure, storage area networks (SANs), backup systems, and data recovery
- Implements network policies, procedures, and standards;
- Identifies, analyzes, and purchases new equipment related to keeping the network, servers, and storage innovative;
- Keeps abreast of developments in PC/Networking, cyber security, and general IT
- Maintains Disaster Recovery Plan and Continuity Plan, and coordinates plans with cyber security team

**Required Skills**:

- Requires extensive experience and knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, Cisco, local and wide area networks, and security. Prior management experience.
- Experience in networking and system administration
