Duties will include other CM activities such as documenting the current network configuration and ensuring that all network modification activities comply with the network Configuration Management Plan. Essential Functions

  • Advise on and implement enterprise network modernization efforts.
  • Work with a team to design state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
  • Ensure compliance with the customer's Configuration Management Plan.
  • Provide review and comment on evolving Configuration Management procedural requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configuration processes and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot network configuration issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Review and authorize/approve Configuration Management documentation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Expertise in network configuration management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop Configuration Management procedures to fit unusual or emergent situations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience with Configuration Management in a relevant environment.
  • Experience working on enterprise networks for a Government or Military customer.
  • Relevant certifications in Network Configuration Management

Preferred Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with and providing advisory services to senior Government personnel.

Physical Job Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.
  • This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.

Clearance Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Current active DoD SECRET clearance is required.

Primary Work Location(s)

  • This is a hybrid position. On-site work will be performed at the customer's facility in Stafford, VA. Employee must live within a 45 minute drive of customer's facility.

Travel Requirements

  • This position has travel requirements up to 10%.
