POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator                

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources**                               **

LOCATION: 470 - CMO Human Resources                                                     

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager

**Position Summary**

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Complete internal personnel status changes to include compensation calculations, at-will employment agreement generation and HRIS entry
- Create and perform regular audits by generating reports to ensure accuracy and compliance (such as tracking and updating fingerprint and certification data), and to accurately respond to HR data requests
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including charter school law.
- Respond to and submit Worker’s Compensation claims, including maintaining OSHA logs and related records.
- Process and respond in a timely manner to Unemployment Insurance claims.
- Participate in department meetings and discussions to exchange ideas, recommendations, and create solutions
- Commit to exceptional customer service, confidentiality, and professionalism as they interact with individuals and groups at every level of the organization
- Assist with on-boarding tasks and facilitate the completion of Forms I-9 in a timely manner
- Maintain electronic personnel and other Human Resources related files
- Provide administrative support to the Regional HR Director, Senior Regional & National HRBPs as needed
- Complete special projects as assigned

**Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths**

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred but not required

Experience: 1-2 years of general Human Resources experience preferred.

Special Skills:

- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills, experience with UltiPro, Adobe Acrobat, Oracle and Taleo preferred
- Knowledge of Federal and Arizona employment law
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills; oriented towards detail, thoroughness, and accuracy
- Experienced and comfortable interacting with individuals/groups at every level of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Achievement-oriented, have a great deal of stamina to work hard and take satisfaction from being productive
- Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills

**Licenses or certifications**

Type of fingerprint clearance: Must possess or obtain valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Physical functions: Requires but is not limited to standing, sitting, repetitious hand and body movements, bending, squatting, and reaching. May be required to move or position equipment up to 15 pounds approximately.

Equipment used: Frequent computer and phone use is expected.

Work Environment: May be required to move or position equipment up to 10-15 pounds.

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
