Washington, United States US Army Installation Management Command Full time

**Duties**:

- Coordinates with responsible activity directors for installation access, event support, preparing an event location, risk assessment and mitigation, and food and beverage safety requirements.
- Works with contracting representatives to ensure contracts are in place (i.e. VIP tent setup/tear down; start line balloon arches, runner medals and food, etc.)
- Updates the Strategic Management System (SMS) utilized to brief to installation senior leaders.
- Completes reports for various onsite activities (i.e. runner medal distro, runner food distro, sponsor booths, award tent, Youth Run, garment check, etc.)
- Coordinates setup and teardown, audio visual setup and operation, storage of equipment, complies and ensure others are in compliance with Preventive Medicine food handling processes.

- Pre-employment physical required.
- Must be present in-person and travel at their own expense to Washington D.C. during ATM Race weekend every year. The ATM race takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and is normally held the 1st or 2nd week in October of every year.

**Qualifications**:

- Work experience related to the duties to be performed.
- Work requires the use of physical exertion when preparing for and overseeing events.
- Must be able to lift and carry light to moderately heavy items.
- **Highly Preferred**:
Possess three (3) to five (5) years of experience in coordinating and executing MWR special events on military installations.
- Experience working as a Contract Officer Representative (COR) on Non-Appropriated Fund Contracts writing Statements of Work (SOWs) for Purchase Request (PRs).

**PCS Costs**
- Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

**Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials**
- This is a pay-banded position.
- Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. **_If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay._** When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
- Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

**Incentives and Bonuses**
- Incentives will not be paid.

**Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances**
- Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
