**Example Responsibilities Include but are not limited to**:
**Production Oversight**:

- Manage day-to-day production operations, ensuring efficient, timely and safe processes.
- Supervise production staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor production output to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure strict adherence to all state regulations and company policies related to cannabis manufacturing.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.

**Quality Control**:

- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify production issues.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste.
- Track raw materials and finished product inventory, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

**Process Improvement**:

- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
- Implement process enhancements to increase productivity and product consistency.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and up to industry standards.

**Team Development**:

- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ Years in a Manufacturing environment
- 3+ Years Managing a team
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
- Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
- Prior experience in cannabis helpful but not required
- Strong knowledge of cannabis regulations and compliance in Illinois helpful but not required.
