Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, we are on the bus line. We are seeking to hire a Shipping and Receiving Team Member to our busy dock. This position is a fast paced, detail oriented, team centered role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome incoming drivers and direct docks for receiving and shipping customer products.
- Receive, inspect, and weight-count parts.
- Initiate and maintain lot traceability.
- Prepare tickets, shippers, bills of lading and export documents.
- Load and unload trucks using a hilo or hand truck.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and orders.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the warehouse.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role required.
- Proficiency with MRP systems and warehouse management software.
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to interact with team members and carriers.
- Strong initiative and hustle.
