Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Receiving Team Member to join our team at Skytron LLC. As a key member of our Shipping and Receiving department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth receipt and processing of inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and Process Shipments: Safely unload shipments from trucks and trailers, and accurately process all orders through our ERP System.
  • Inventory Management: Sort and organize inventory items by product number, verify product quantities, and properly label incoming products.
  • Put-Away and Cycle Counts: Perform put-away tasks and inventory transfers in a timely and accurate manner, and conduct daily/weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Research and resolve issues and errors, and communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure seamless operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Cross-train in all areas of the Shipping and Receiving department, and actively participate in continuous projects and events to drive process improvements.
Requirements
  • Administrative Functions: Capably handle required administrative functions, including data entry and record-keeping.
  • Attention to Detail: Verify work to ensure accurate results, requiring minimal rework.
  • Adherence to Procedures: Follow work instructions, procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
  • Productivity and Motivation: Meet productivity standards, and be internally motivated and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Education and Experience: Have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a desire to further education, and previous material handling experience with RF scanner use is desired.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to exert up to 100lbs of force occasionally and up to 50lbs of force frequently.
