Position**:Technical Support Manager (VERICUT)**
Hours: Full time
Location: Remote, USA
**Description**
**Responsibilities**
- Promote consistent policies and procedures throughout CGTech’s technical staff supporting the Americas;
- Coordinate with the Sales Director and carry out corporate initiatives;
- Partner with Compliance department to define and implement proper handling of export-controlled Electronic Data;
- Coordinate with IT and Technical Leads to define software infrastructure for Technical Staff;
- Monitor technical bandwidth across the CGTech brand to ensure timely customer support;
- Manage Tradeshow and Event scheduling;
- Standard training sessions for flagship VERICUT software;
- Manage file management through Customer Portals;
- Schedule physical and virtual standard VERICUT training classes;
- Coordinate Collaborative projects with sister companies and partners;
- Oversee technical acquisitions and integration;
- Manage satellite technical assets such as Brazil;
- Conduct internal training for Technical Leads;
- Conduct end-of-year performance evaluations of Technical Leads and Managers;
- Other projects as assigned.
**Qualifications**
**Required**:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or relevant experience in CNC Manufacturing;
- Experience as CGTech Technical Support Manager or Technical Support Lead position;
- Experience and knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens and other CNC controls;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong collaboration and team building skills;
- Strong management and leadership skills.
**Desirable, but not required**:
- Prior managerial experience;
- Experience with additive and subtractive processes;
- Ability to create and/or modify Post Processors for CNC Machine Tools;
- Experience with Composite Tape Laying processes;
- Computer programming skills;
- Fluent in Spanish and/or French.
