We are currently hiring for a part-time Porter for Talisa Apartments in Panorama City.

Talisa Apartments is a brand-new apartment community, built in 2023, consists of 48 total 1 and 2 bedroom apartments for low income homeless households. We are currently looking for a porter that can help keep the building clean

**We are looking for applicants who have the following skills**:

- MUST Have prior porter or janitorial experience
- Apartment Cleaning experience
- Power Washing experience
- Customer service experience
- Possess a can-do attitude
- Is self-motivated to work hard and do a good job
- Is honest and dependable - Can arrive to work on-time
- Has the ability to work as a team
- Ability to work in an outside environment
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures without fail

**Daily duties/responsibilities include**:

- Picking up trash
- Mopping & sweeping
- Cleaning all common areas (Includes: laundry rooms, rental office, hallways, restrooms & community rooms)
- Sanitize all common surfaces at beginning and end of shift - doors & door knobs, hand rails, entry gates, laundry machines, mailboxes, etc.
- Power washing sidewalks, trash enclosures, parking lot, walkways
- Cleaning out trash enclosures
- Maintaining the property curb appeal
- Assisting with Cleaning vacant units as needed
- All other duties as assigned

**Compensation Includes**:

- Hourly Pay Rate = $17.00 per hour
- 25 hours per week = Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Personal Time, Vacation and Holiday Pay
- CalSavers Individual Retirement Option

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

**Experience**:

- Custodial / Janitorial: 2 years (preferred)
- Exterior Building Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)

- Apartment Porter: 2 years (preferred)
- Cleaning Vacant Apartments: 2 years (preferred)
- Interior Building cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
