Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Porter to join our team at Mattress Firm. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the cleanliness of bathrooms, sales floor, and windows through dusting, mopping, sweeping, and washing.
  • Keep pillows and Protect-A-Beds stocked and organized.
  • Assist with displaying advertisements and maintaining visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain and organize clearance center(s) and/or store(s).
  • Perform general facilities maintenance and ensure the overall appearance of the store is maintained.
  • Ensure transfers are placed in their designated area with proper bagging and labeling.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
