We are currently seeking a highly skilled Special Police Officer to join our team our Elite Security Force at SaberOne Security Solutions
- **Please be advised that the required site are located in the District of Columbia area.**_

**PAY RATE**:Starting at $25 hr for armed SPO.
- **SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE**_

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least _2+ years of experience_
- _**SPO LICENSE REQUIRED**_
- _Applicants in possession of a driver's license with a clean driving record preferred_

**Enforcement Duties**:

- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order on private property
- Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and provide assistance to the community
- Maintain a high visibility presence to deter illegal activities
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests when necessary
- Write detailed reports and maintain accurate records of incidents
- Testify in court proceedings as a witness when required
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to coordinate efforts and share information
- Conduct community outreach programs to educate the public on crime prevention

**Additional Resposibilities**:

- Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Active listening skills
- Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
- Maintain a high visibility presence to deter illegal activities
- Provide assistance to the public and ensure their safety
- Maintain a daily log of all activities during your assigned shift at your assigned post
- Conduct walking/vehicular patrols throughout your shift

**Skills**:

- Conflict management: Ability to deescalate tense situations and resolve conflicts peacefully
- Leadership: Ability to take charge of situations, make decisions, and guide others effectively
- Criminal investigation: Proficient in conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, and analyzing information
- First aid certification: Knowledge of basic first aid techniques to provide immediate medical assistance when needed
- Loss prevention: Understanding of techniques to prevent theft and protect property

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (some agencies may require a college degree)
- Completion of a certified police academy training program
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal history and drug screening
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to meet department standards for physical agility tests
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations
