Mustang Cat is looking for a qualified Sales Manager to provide overall leadership and management for a team of Machinery Sales Representatives in pursuit of market share and revenue goals for Caterpillar Equipment.

**Sales Manager Responsibilities**:

- Manage team of Machinery Sales Representatives
- Evaluate performance of assigned sales team
- Ensure we continuously deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Organize training opportunities for sales skills and product knowledge
- Work with sales reps to handle escalated collection disputes
- Focus efforts to grow the business with new customers
- Coordinate merchandising programs
- Set individual goals and targets for sales reps

As the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure Mustang's Value of Work Together is demonstrated across the sales teams, and maintain exceptional leadership with all levels of customers, partners, and suppliers.

**Sales Manager Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management or related field
- 5 years of industry sales/sales Management experience
- Will consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education requirements
- Knowledge of heavy equipment industry, including sales and service
- Understanding of financial reports and accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Professional communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated successful sales leadership experience
- Think outside the box and handle high-pressure situations
- Ability to motivate sales representatives to increase market share
- Negotiation experience
