Caregiver (Pc's) for Assisted Living Facility

**Position Summary**:
We are currently looking for full-time Caregivers (PC's) to join our team and provide our residents with a wonderful care experience. We are currently hiring for the following shifts: AM shift (6:30 am to 2:00 pm) Pm shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm) and NOC shift (10:00 pm to 6:00 am). These position are responsible for carrying out the assisted daily living services to senior residents in accordance with their care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) as listed on the residents Service Plan.
- Provide bathing, dressing, skin care, incontinence care, personal care, personal hygiene, dining assistance, making beds, escorting and other daily tasks.
- Provide safe transfers, proper lifting techniques per company policy.
- Perform resident laundry service and strips bedding and replace per assignment.
- Monitor, supervise and conduct regular safety checks.
- Document & Report any change of conditions to Supervisor.
- Prepare resident personal inventory, organize their closets, and personal items.
- Provide resident activity programming, including exercise, reminiscing, music, and memory, sensory and individual activities.
- Escort residents to daily activities, dining and outings as needed.
- Practice good infection control procedures and modes of disease transmission.
- Follow the community's disaster plans; elopement policy, emergency protocols.
- Care for cognitively impaired residents and behaviors of individuals with dementia by: using effective techniques and communication.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Completion of state specific required training completed in mandated time frame.
- Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or bend for numerous or long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 pounds and push, pull, or transfer 100 pounds.
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English
- Able to work with residents in a respectful, compassionate manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the service needs of our residents, this can include holidays and weekend shifts.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 - 40 per week
