- The Regional Vice President of Operations reports to the Vice President of Ground Operations, in North America. This position is responsible for the oversight of Safe, Secure, and efficient operations within the areas they are responsible for while seeking opportunities to drive additional business and operational improvements. Ensuring that all defined KPI targets are achieved in line with the budget and performance specifications. This position must ensure the company values are always being followed, and that we are continuously managing the financial performance of the areas of responsibility. This role will also develop Ground Handling strategy and commercial activity including organic growth and potential new station openings.**Responsibilities**
- Ability to drive safety, and security performance for the benefit of our team members, customers, and stakeholders.
- Responsible for the safe and secure operations of our Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to effectively present information to senior management and customers
- Responsible for the ongoing operation and revenue-generating activities of all domestic and international operations.
- This position will supervise the assembly and presentation of related financial forecasts and budgets, the initial creation of operational personnel files and records, the establishment and implementation of training programs directed at successful operational performance and operational career development, and the security of facilities, equipment, personnel, information, and inventory.
- Serves as the point of operational contact following successful implementation of projects.
- Will supervise Directors, Regional Managers, General Managers, and Project Managers, facilities and lease-related selections and negotiation, union-related issues, operational auditing, public relations, and general administrative issues.
- Identify stations that are deviating from the plan and assist the Director, GM, and Regional Manager, in developing and executing action plans.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to keep leadership informed of financial and operational performance.
- Oversee manpower and ground equipment planning.
- Develop business cases to support operational decisions.
- Work with all other HDQ organizations to ensure the Operations point of view is represented.
- Support ad-hoc projects as needed.

**Minimum Requirements**
- Extensive experience leading multiple operations and locations in a 24x7 environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior management.
- Ability to Travel 50-75% of the time
- Must have previous senior operations leader experience with responsibility for large operations including supervising administrative staff and frontline leadership within an airport, logistics supply chain, or related field.
- Large ramp and customer service operations experience including wide-body and narrow-body aircraft experience strongly desired.
- Extensive experience in the aviation industry, management, leadership, and information systems. Marketing experience is helpful.
- Strong budget and P&L experience
- Knowledge of change management and influential factors
- Familiarization with Six Sigma or similar process improvement fundamentals

**Preferred Skills**
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the Spanish language.
- Strong conflict management and relationship skills.

**Physical Requirements/Working Conditions**
- Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
