- Review patient medical records and treatment plans to determine the need for prior authorizations

- Submit prior authorization requests to insurance companies and follow up on their status
- Maintain accurate records of all prior authorization requests and their outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date on insurance industry regulations, policies, and procedures
- Provide support and guidance to patients regarding their insurance coverage and prior authorization requirements

**Skills**:

- Proficient in terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Experience with insurance verification processes
- Understanding of managed care plans and their requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review medical records
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
